Your song, "Thank a Soldier", is absolutely wonderful... The lyrics are beautiful and heartfelt yet very simple and all the words are clear and easily understandable (I have a hearing problem and can rarely understand song lyrics.). And I can enjoy the melody while still listening to the moving words. My daughter has been in the Navy for 3 years, and will be stationed at the Naval Air Base in Qatar next month. It's a small country between Iraq and Iran. She is very serious about her service, and is pretty certain about making it a career. She is also very proud to be allowed the "opportunity" to serve her country in the Mid East. I now have the "opportunity" to aid and support her and other sailors' service and am researching avenues of support groups (live or online), ways to ship cookies, Red Shirt Fridays, etc. I am thrilled that I came across your song! It has a very catchy rhythm and I hope to get it memorized and keep it fresh in my mind. Thank you!

Ms. Lester,
-I wanted to personally thank you for your support of our military in the song, "Thank a Soldier;" I cried the first time I heard it on www.redshirtfridays.org. My youngest brother recently graduated from the MCRD in San Diego, and now my other brother will be joining the United States Marine Corps as well. Thank you so much, and God Bless. May all Americans follow in your example.

I'm a friend of your daughter Megan. I am friends with Megan even though she is not cool enough to have her own myspace page. She just told me about her famous mom today (I've only known her for 3 years.) so I wanted to see for myself. Very cool - I'll be checking out your music later.

I'm the one who played bass unintrusively on some of your songs while you sang at Rancho Tesoro yesterday (Dec. 8). I'm also the one who said "my Dad had a Plymouth Belvedere." Actually, he had the top-of-the-line station wagon, the Sport Suburban, for which he paid a whopping $2,775. (Why is my mind filled with non-essential info like that?) Both door handles were broken when I drove it on my first date. I had to fasten the doors shut with leather belts. I never asked her out again. Too embarrassed!
I really enjoyed your music, especially the Christmas Letter song. I hate reading those things because like your song implies, they make the reader feel as if every other family except his/hers is perfect.
Good luck with your music. I'll probably run into you next Christmas somewhere. Hopefully there'll be an audience that you can actually see.
P.S. The Belvedere model had the most features. The cheaper versions were the Plaza and the Savoy. (More useless trivia).

Hello Trish,
After hearing your "Just a Cookie" song last Friday (11/9/07) on 88.5 in Los Angeles, I ordered your CD from Amazon.com. I'm really enjoying it. Thanks.

Hi Trish, It's about time someone wrote a song for the " BELVEDERE" I know what you mean. I always get that "ho hum " attitude when I tell someone I have a Belvedere. There seems to be more interest in the Fury. But, I love my Belvedere... Thanks Allen

Trish – your performance the other night inspired me to the "enth" degree! I don't get out enough, and the experience was actually life-changing. Your music pierced my soul on the most profound level. It brought me back to the happier times in my life when folk music was a huge part of it. I am rarely moved to tears but you did it, gal! I was so touched by your singing, by those meaningful, hand-woven lyrics and such deep, gut-level melodies.
You are a true musical genius! God has blessed you with amazing talent, and you are making Him proud. I listened to your CD non-stop yesterday and continued listening to it over and over again throughout the entire night. I was jazzed with so many ideas for you running through my head that I literally could not sleep. You filled me with joy, happiness and peace.

Trish,
You look like the actress m.streep. I'd heard through Anet that you were involved in music; however, I thought it was in promotion only. I love your voice. Judith of the New Mexico Gillespie Clan.

Trish -- I am Eric Brown's sister, a fan of yours since I first heard How Do We Go On. Just received Plymouth Belvedere and wanted to tell you --"fabulous". I enjoyed every cut on it and it brought all kinds of emotions--joy, hope, pride and a lot of laughter. Thanks and I wish you great success. Anita

Trish, you can't listen to just one of your songs, you have to hear them all! What a delight. Incidentally, I'll be listening to "The Christmas Letter" this evening as I compose my own. Unfortunately, no one in my household has learned Mandarin Chinese this past year.

Trish,
I emailed "The Christmas Letter" to family and friends yesterday and the positive feedback is already starting to come in. It is sly, wry and beautifully crafted! Why isn't this getting air play?it's better than most of what we hear on the radio this time of year!

Aloha Trish,
I enjoyed listening to "The Christmas Letter." It made me laugh because I usually receive at least one such letter each holiday season. I think to myself, "Are these people for real!?"
If I wrote a letter, it would be filled with life's challenges, such as a renovation project that is NOT going according to schedule or budget.
Haole Makahiki Ho (Happy New Year)!

Connie and I have gotten more than our fair share of "THOSE" Christmas Letters. Your song really hit home. We listened to it a couple of time so that we identify the people that we recognized in your Christmas letter song. We loved it. I hope you don't mind if I forward it to a few of my friends.
For those of us that have been on the receiving end of those "Christmas Letters", your current title will allow the song to bring the flawless family to mind without saying it in the name of the song.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from both of us.
Thank you for sharing you talent with us.
Love,
Klaus and Connie

Very nice site! Easy to navigate and super informative. Your appearances are just too far west of the Mighty Mississippi for me to come see and hear you. (:^)
